Nativewise / design foundation

Quiet confidence, champagne on navy.

The foundation this site runs on: two themes, one loud word per statement, one action per screen.

brand · the basket mark and the caps wordmark

Nativewise
hero · mark 40 / caps 18 · brand-forward surfaces
Nativewise
nav (chrome) · mark 26 / caps 15 · header, footer, menu
mark alone · 48 (avatar) / 26 / 16 (favicon) · ink warp, sienna weft, theme-swapped
Nativewise
polarity · NATIVE 700 / WISE 400, never the inverse. +0.06em at nav size, +0.05em at display sizes
  • The name is written Nativewise: one word, capital N. The domain appears only where it is literally a URL.
  • The mark is a 2×2 over-under weave: 32-grid, stroke 2.8, round caps. It is never redrawn; every surface from favicon to footer carries the same geometry.
  • The footer signs off with the wordmark rasterised on a 6px dot grid, set a weight heavier than the wordmark itself so the dots hold the line.

Body paragraph: 14.5px on 1.6 at the body tier. Trust comes from specificity and honesty, never fabricated proof.

FormatSpec value: 15px beside its mono key.

Fine print: 10px mono, footer and notes.

surfaces

Panel card

1px hairline border, 2px radius, panel ground. Card copy sits at the line tier of the ladder.

Espresso band

Band statements keep the accent word loud.

The band ground stays dark in both themes; its ink comes from the cream-esp pair, its hairlines from hair-esp.
